NIC Asia Laghubitta Conducts First-Quarter Provincial Budget Review Workshop

NIC Asia Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited completed its first-quarter provincial-level budget review workshop from Kartik 12–14 in Kohalpur, Banke, with 121 representatives from Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. The three-day event reviewed first-quarter performance, discussed challenges in the microfinance sector, and planned strategies for the second quarter.

CEO Cholaraj Sharma Joshi and senior management emphasized staff motivation, teamwork, and alignment with institutional goals. Department heads presented achievements and action plans, while discussions focused on improving service quality, loan recovery, financial literacy programs, and operational efficiency. The workshop aimed to synchronize regional operations with central strategies, boost employee morale, and strengthen service delivery across the three provinces, addressing challenges such as rising non-performing loans and interest rate caps.
