NIC Asia Bank's iServe Platform Secures Infosys Finacle Innovation Award
NIC Asia Bank, aiming to become a 'Digital First Bank,' has won the 'Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards 2024' for its innovative digital banking products. The bank received the 'Channel Innovation Platinum' award, standing out among 200 entries in 10 categories for its iServe platform.
iServe allows customers to access comprehensive digital banking services from home or office, covering customer service, payments, card services, document verification, mobile banking, teller services, online services, merchant services, and trade services.
NIC Asia Bank operates 360 branches, 671 ATMs, 118 extended counters, and 51 branchless networks across Nepal, serving 25% of the economically active population aged 20-50. The bank has paid over NPR 23.7 billion in revenue to the government since its inception and NPR 3.61 billion in the last fiscal year.
Committed to financial inclusion, it has expanded branches in remote districts and areas with limited banking services, with 72% of its branches in rural and small urban areas where over 80% of Nepal's population lives.
