NIC Asia Bank Provides Essential Support to Sahara Ghar in Kailali under CSR Initiative

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, NIC Asia Bank has extended support to Sahara Ghar (Helping Hands Nepal) in Ward No. 2 of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality, Kailali, to improve living conditions and hygiene for its residents. The bank provided dining tables, benches, and a water dispenser to ensure a more comfortable and healthier environment.

Sahara Ghar currently shelters 97 individuals, including children, women, persons with disabilities, and elderly citizens who require care and support. The items were formally handed over during a ceremony by NIC Asia Bank’s Dhangadhi Circle Head, Deepak Bista, to the organization’s chairperson, Bal Bahadur Bista.

The bank expressed confidence that this assistance would enhance daily living conditions and improve access to clean drinking water for the residents. Previously, NIC Asia Bank has also undertaken several CSR initiatives, including distributing educational materials to students at Shanti Sewa Griha, offering scholarships to underprivileged and differently-abled students across all seven provinces, and establishing libraries in public and community schools to support education.
