NIC Asia Bank Provides Drinking Water Facility to School in Surkhet

NIC Asia Bank has supported Nepal Rastriya Basic School in Dharapani, Birendranagar-1, Surkhet, by installing a water tank and motor under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The bank stated that the support aims to improve drinking water management and create a healthier and more comfortable learning environment for students and teachers. The school currently serves more than 167 students.

The handover program was attended by representatives from the bank, school management committee, teachers, students, and local government officials. The water infrastructure was formally handed over on Jestha 8, 2083.
