NIC Asia Bank Partners with Khalti to Facilitate Digital Payments; now load fund to Khalti from your NIC ASIA mobile and internet banking platforms

NIC Asia Bank Limited has signed an agreement with Khalti to facilitate its internet banking and mobile banking customers for digital payments. Roshan Kumar Neupane - CEO of NIC Asia and Arvind Sah - Director of Khalti signed a partnership agreement amidst a ceremony organized at the bank’s head office in Thapathali, Kathmandu.

With this partnership, NIC Asia customers across the nation can now load funds in their Khalti wallet using the bank’s mobile banking and internet banking service and make all kinds of digital payments available at Khalti’s platform.

This partnership is expected to further help in the adoption of digital payments in Nepal ultimately moving the country towards a cashless economy.

Speaking about the agreement, Khalti’s Director Arvind Sah shared,

“We are glad to sign this MoU with NIC Asia Bank to enable its customers to load their Khalti wallet easily and make payment for services within the wallet and at various merchants via Khalti. This initiative would help consumers go cashless in payments and facilitate hassle-free transactions. With this partnership, Khalti has taken another step ahead towards its mission of making digital payments possible to all the users in Nepal, ultimately making the nation cashless.”

Similarly, Roshan Kumar Neupane, CEO of NIC Asia Bank shared,

“We are looking forward for technology to facilitate easy solutions where our customers can fulfill all their banking / financial related requirements using their mobile phones. We are very excited to collaborate with Khalti to provide its seamless digital payment facility to all our customers.”
