NIC Asia Bank Limited Announces Dividend Declaration for FY 79/80

NIC Asia Bank Limited (NICA) has declared a dividend. The bank's board of directors convened on Thursday, the 28th of Bhadra, to propose the distribution of dividends from the profits of the financial year 79/80.
According to this decision, the bank plans to distribute a 30.5% dividend of the total paid-up capital, with 29 percent being allocated in the form of bonus shares and 1.5% as cash dividends for tax purposes.
NICA, which had not distributed dividends to its investors for two years, is now proposing a 30.5 percent dividend distribution. The actual distribution of the dividend to investors is contingent upon approval by the Nepal Rastra Bank and ratification at the upcoming general meeting of the Company.
In addition to this development, NIC Asia Bank has become the fourth commercial bank to announce proposed dividends from the profits of the financial year 79/80, following similar announcements from Machhapuchhre, Everest, and Sanima Bank.
