NIC Asia Bank contributes Rs 2.21 crore to PM Disaster Relief Fund
NIC Asia Bank Limited has contributed Rs 2.21 crore to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund for rescue and relief distribution to those affected by the devastating flood in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi river. The amount comprises Rs 2 crore under the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility fund and Rs 21 lakh collected from its board members and staff.
The Bank's Chairman Ashok Kumar Agrawal and CEO Sujit Kumar Shakya jointly handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle on Bhadra 11.

The contribution aims to support relief efforts following the sudden and unprecedented flood on Bhadra 10, which caused extensive physical and human damage across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and surrounding districts.
The bank expressed deep sorrow over the devastation caused by the flood and paid tribute to all those who lost their lives, extending prayers of strength to the bereaved families during this difficult time.
