NIC ASIA Bank conducts “run for health” event in Biratnagar; more than 1000 youths ran 5 km to raise health awareness
NIC ASIA Bank in association with Biratnagar Platinum Round Table-11 and Biratnagar Ladies Circle-5 has conducted NIC ASIA Run For Health event in Biratnagar on Magh 18, 2075.
The event which was organized in Shankarpur based Janata Namuna Higher Secondary School was attended by students from various schools of the city.
The 5 km long event was attended by more than 1000 youths as well as the member of PA Mr. Motilal Duggad, Mayor of Biratnagar Mr. Bhim Parajuli, celebrity Actors Keki Adhikari and Richa Sharma among others.
In the event, Mr. Sumrit Yadav from City College Biratnagar received the first position among boys while Ms. Jyoti Trital from Orchid College came first among female students.
The first, second and third award winners received 32 inch TV set, Microweb Oven and Vacuum Cleaner respectively. The bank currently has 275 branches, 289 ATM outlets, 39 extension counters and 23branchless banking units all over the nation.
