NIC Asia Bank Boosts Education with New Libraries Across Nepal

NIC Asia Bank, under its corporate social responsibility initiative, has completed and handed over library buildings to several public schools across different districts in Nepal.

These libraries, constructed with active collaboration from local schools and communities, aim to enhance the educational environment by providing essential resources for teaching and learning.

The bank completed libraries at schools in Sudurpashchim, Madhesh, Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. More library buildings are under construction in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces.

A total budget of Rs. 2 crore 13 lakh 23 thousand was allocated for these projects. With these new facilities, over 11,000 students will gain access to a wealth of educational materials, which is expected to improve their learning outcomes and personal development.
