NIC ASIA Bank begins card based payment system under collaboration with Cybersource Inc.; card holders of any national or international banks can now make payment for their online purchases
NIC ASIA Bank has begun its all-new card based online payment gateway service in Nepal in partnership with international payment gateway service provider VISA under Cybersource Inc. of the USA.
Following the commencement of this service, merchants in Nepal can receive payment for their goods and services from the cards issued by different national and international banks right in their NIC ASIA Bank accounts, as per the media statement.
The service that is introduced for the first time in nepal is expected to be a boon in disguise for further enhancement of digital banking service among the business community in several sectors, as per the media statement.
The bank currently provides its services to its 22 lakh plus strong customer base from its 326 branches, 466 ATM terminals, 102 extension counters and 64 branchless banking units throughout the nation.
