NIC ASIA Bank and Bankers’ Association come together to inform rural folks of Myaglung in Terhathum about subsidized loan facility of federal government

Nepal Bankers’ Association in an association with NIC ASIA Bank has conducted an interaction program related to financial literacy and subsidized loan facility at Myaglung Bazar of Terhathum district on Mangsir 7, 2075. The interaction event was attended by senior deputy governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Chintamani Sibakoti, chairman of NBA Mr. Gyanendra Dhungana among others.

The event was organized to inform the rural population about the provisions made by the federal government through its federal fiscal budget 2075-76 under which the banks are required to provide subsidized loan facilities under various sections and sectors of economy in order to promote entrepreneurship and eradicate poverty from every household.

In the same event, NIC ASIA Bank through its Myaglung branch has also provided subsidized loan as proposed by the federal government to 3 customers for commercial agriculture project. The event also saw the handover of loan papers to the customers of 3 other commercial banks i.e. Global IME Bank, Nepal Bank and Janata Bank under the same scheme.

The bank currently has 266 branches, 274 ATM outlets, 37 extension counters and 18 branchless banking units under its widening service.
