NIBL floats 7.5 lakh units of seven-year debenture @ 8% interest rate

Nepal Investment Bank Limited has floated 7.5 lakh units of seven-year debenture of 8 percent interest rate at a face value of Rs 1000 per unit from today.
Though 37,500 units have been set aside for the mutual funds out of the total bond, the bank received application for only 15,000 units. Hence the remaining 22,500 units that was initially pledged to the mutual funds have also been floated to the general public.
Moreover, 1,12,500 units of the debenture has been floated to the public, and another 6 lakh units to individual and institutional investors on personal basis.
The interested investors can apply for the debenture at the head office and all the branches of NIBL, besides the office of its issue manager Civil Capital Market Limited at Kamaladi and NIBL Capital at Lazimpat.
The issue will close on July 16, or by July 27 at the latest.
