NIBL Equity Partners Signs Term Sheet for Investment in Lost In Mandala
NIBL Equity Partners, the private equity initiative of NIMB Ace Capital Limited, has signed a term sheet with Incessant Rain Studios for a proposed investment of up to NPR 100 million in Lost In Mandala, an animated feature film being developed and produced in Nepal.
The investment, subject to definitive agreements and other applicable conditions, will support the film’s production and related activities in Nepal.
Lost In Mandala is an original fantasy adventure created and directed by Nepali filmmaker Kiran Bhakta Joshi. The story follows a 12-year-old girl raised by Buddhist nuns in a remote Himalayan monastery who is drawn into a mysterious parallel world, where she must confront a dark force and save both worlds.

The film draws on Himalayan landscapes, mythology and spiritual traditions, while exploring themes of friendship, compassion, belonging and self-discovery. Its screenplay includes contributions from Zack Stentz, known for Thor, X-Men: First Class and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. Deepa Chipalu Joshi is producing the film
Incessant Rain Studios is co-producing the project with Lost in Mandala LLC. NIMB Ace Capital had previously supported the project by facilitating fundraising efforts and hosting an investor showcase at QFX Cinemas.
NIMB Ace Capital CEO Shivanth B. Pande said the partnership would help strengthen Nepal’s animation sector and support original Nepali intellectual property with international potential.
The proposed investment is expected to support Lost In Mandala as it moves closer to production and its planned release to audiences worldwide.
