NEWS OF BUGDET BOOST NEPSE

The preparation of the government to reveal polls centric budget of Rs 400 billion for the current fiscal year through ordinance by late evening today helped the market to float in the positive direction. After the opening of the trade, the local bourse for first 80 minutes of session traded near to the opening level. But in the later hours, the benchmark index gradually took place to close at 519.25 levels, gaining 4.35 points than on yesterday’s level.
Altogether there were trades of nine sectors among which Trading and Insurance plummeted by 0.84 and 4.44 points respectively. Whereas, Banking gained 6.33 points following the surge in the most of the banking scrips. Also, the announcement of Nepal Bank Limited (NBL), closed at Rs 685, to float 1:9.5 right share soon in the market after mid-April made it highly demanded scrip in the market today; the scrip today incremented by Rs 44. Likewise, remaining two of the Banking and Financial Institutions sub-indices, Development and Finance also soar by 0.61 and 0.52 points respectively.
Among the other sub-indices, Hydro made a jump of 5.87 points while, the boost in the Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC ) by Rs 4 propelled the Others sector up by 4.7 points. Similarly, Hotels also incremented by 0.38 points whereas Manufacturing remain intact at 840.23 levels.
Overall there were trades of 89 scrips among which 48 scrips increased 14 remained intact and 27 scrips decreased. The best performer for the day was, International Leasing And Fin. Co. (ILFC), closed at Rs 122, with Rs 6 or 5.17% gain. Whereas, Grand Bank Limited Promoter Share (GRANDP), closed at Rs 111, was the worst performer with Rs 12 or 9.76% loss.
In case of the highest shares traded, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-1 (SIGS1), closed at Rs 11.64, topped with 137,500 units. In terms of turnover, Civil Bank Ltd (CBL), closed at Rs 160, topped with 57,708 units worth Rs 9,149,963 via 207 transactions; in which Broker no 7 (J.F. Securities Company Pvt. Limited) was the most active Broker with 10.37% stand alone dealing of CBL, tallying 5,985 units worth Rs 949,221 via 45 transactions which includes 3 matching transactions totaling 399 units worth Rs 63,042.
Altogether 358,788 units of shares were traded via 1,154 transactions worth Rs 78,504,739; the market capitalization at the day stood at Rs 504,295.80 Millions.
