New boss of Citizens Bank Rajan Singh Bhandari receives oath from NRB Governor; to remain in helm of bank for another 4 years

Newly elected chairman of Citizens Bank Mr. Rajan Singh Bhandari has received his oath of secrecy and designation on Aswin 12, 2076 from the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal. Mr. Bhandari was the founding CEO of the bank, completed his stint in 2076 and re-joined the top management of the bank as chairman for upcoming four years.

The bank had collected deposit of Rs 74.13 arba, disbursed Rs 65.07 arba as loans, earned net profit of Rs 1.46 arba by the end of the previous FY.

The bank currently provides its services from 82 branches, 79 ATM terminals and 102 branchless banking units and serves around 4 lakh customers.
