Net profit of Nerude Laghubitta plunges by 40 percent; EPS & Net worth per share stand at Rs 16.32 and Rs 198.22 respectively

Nerude Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (NLBBL) has shown fall in net profit by 40.41 percent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the fiscal year 2074/75.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter today, the microfinance company stated that its net profit falls to Rs 5.64 crore in the Q4 of fiscal year 2074/75, down from Rs 9.46 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.
Its net interest income has also fallen from Rs 31.61 crore in corresponding quarter to Rs 28.85 crore in the fourth quarter.
Its paid up capital remains at Rs 34.57 crore after distribution of 13% bonus shares from the net profit if had earned in the FY 2073/74 with reserve of Rs 33.96 crore in Q4.
The company has borrowings worth Rs 1.84 arba in the fourth quarter, which was Rs 1.64 arba in the corresponding quarter. Likewise, it has extended loans and advances of Rs 3.95 arba in Q4 whereas in the same period last year the figure stood at Rs 3.09 arba.
Its non-performing loan (NPL) has increased to 1.60% in Q4 from 0.87% in the previous year report.
Its annualized earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 16.32, net worth per share at Rs 198.22 and the P/E ratio at 39.04 times.
