Net interest income leads to 19.1 % profit rise for Muktinath in Q2

Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited has reported 19.13 percent rise in profit in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2070/71.

Publishing the unaudited quarterly report for the second quarter today, one of the most-sought-after development banks has stated that its net profit rose to Rs 5.54 crore in the second quarter, up from Rs 4.65 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal year.

Muktinath’s profit was by and large fuelled by its core business.

Its net interest income has surged to Rs 13.59 crore up from just Rs 9.93 crore in the second quarter last fiscal year.

Similarly, the bank has also succeeded in mobilizing Rs 4.36 arba in deposit and Rs 3.55 arba in loan as compared to Rs 3.07 arba in deposit and Rs 2.63 arba in the corresponding quarter last year.

The bank’s non-performing loan has, however, marginally gone up from 0.63 percent in the second quarter of the last fiscal year to 0.66 as of now.

It’s EPS (annualized) stands at Rs 30.20 and its net worth per share stands at an impressive Rs 137.61.
