Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Proposes 15% Cash Dividend for Fiscal Year 2078/79

Nesdo Sambridha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NESDO) has proposed a 15% cash dividend for FY 2078/79.

The 78th meeting of the company held on Chaita 10, 2079 proposed a dividend of 73.6842 percent, including bonus shares, and cash dividends (including tax), derived from the accumulated profit of the organization for the financial year 2078/079. Subsequently, on Baisakh 04, 2080, the Nepal Rastra Bank, accorded its approval for a dividend percentage of 17.9342 only.

However, considering the altered dividend approval from Nepal Rastra Bank, the actual cash dividend allocation, inclusive of tax, has been revised to 15% according to the 283rd meeting of the board of directors convened on Saturday. The company seeks Nepal Rastra Bank's and Microfinance Institutions Supervision Department's permission for the publication of the adjusted cash dividend figure of 15 percent.

The current paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs. 25.50 Crores. 

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM.
