Nepse Wrap up (Review period 29th Dec to 2nd Jan, 2013)
ShareSansar, 3rd Jan:
This week too, the market further derailed as the local bourse suffered a hefty loss of 23.60 points coming to the end of the week.
With the market on consolidating phase, the investors seemed keen to book their profit and wait for more correction to opt for buy strategy. Apart from it, the nearing quarter end has also put pressure on the investors to liquidate their position so as to pay their debt obligation towards the financial institutions.
In addition to it, the nearing of Century bank’ IPO, which will be the last commercial bank to float its share in the market, has further attributed selling pressure from investors so as to finance the bank’s IPO.
