NEPSE Witnesses a Small Uptick After Correction; Closes at 1,403.86; Total Turnover Rs. 1.29 Arba

The stock market showed a bullish uptick today, closing at 1,403.86, a small 7.59 points (0.54%) up from yesterday's close.
A total of 5,342,851 shares were traded amounting to Rs. 1,290,252,213 in turnover amount. 190 scrips were traded via 16,666 transactions.

Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) had the highest turnover of Rs. 34.29 crores, while Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had the second-highest turnover of Rs. 10.04 crores. As a matter of fact, Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) also had the most shares traded in the highest number of transactions for today.

Float is up by 0.53 points and is currently at 98.34. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 294.24 after gaining 1.47 points from the previous close.
Ajod Insurance Limited (AIL), Aarambha Chautari Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ACLBSL), and Nepal Finance Limited (NFS) hit a 10% positive circuit today.

On the other side, Dibyashwari Hydropower Company Limited (DHPL) lost the most 6.9% while closing at Rs. 54 per unit.

Three sectors lost today while 9 others ended red. Mutual Fund lost the most 0.56% and Hotels gained the most 2.22%.
