NEPSE Witnessed Loss of 0.40% to Close at 2,615.03 Levels; BHPL Leads Turnover While Only Three Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, declining by 10.66 points (0.40%) to settle at 2,615.03. This follows a 5.70 point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,629.77, touching an intraday high of 2,631.09, while the lowest point was 2,608.89. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.57 Arba, with 11,291,401 shares traded across 329 companies through 64,029 transactions. 

Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 24.72 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 534.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) and SY Panel Nepal Limited (SYPNL) led the gainers' list by 10.00% each.

Meanwhile, Barahi Hydropower Public Limited (BHPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.76%.
