NEPSE Witnessed Loss of 0.06% to Close at 2,607.37 Levels; NGPL Leads Turnover While Only Five Sector Close at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 1.66 points (0.06%) to settle at 2,607.37. This follows a 5.03 point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,608.11, touching an intraday high of 2,611.99, while the lowest point was 2,601.50. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.49 Arba, with 7,768,601 shares traded across 329 companies through 69,729 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.77 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.78 Kharba.

Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 18.97 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 402.

Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWASTIK) led the gainers' list by 10.00%.

 

Meanwhile, Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.30%. 

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest loss, losing 0.65%, while the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest gain at 0.92%.
