NEPSE tumbles by 0.59 points closing at 1,184.02;Turnover stands at Rs 39.6 crore

The market today has fallen by 0.59 points or 0.05%, closing at 1,184.02. The total turnover stands at Rs 39.6 crore with 12.5 lakh shares traded via 6,860 transactions.

The market today had opened at 1,184.29, saw minor fluctuations throughout the day and finally closed in red.

Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) had the highest turnover today amounting at Rs 3.63 crore. Similarly, it also had the highest number of shares traded.

The top gainer for today is Everest Insurance Company (EIC). It climbed by 9.92% and closed at Rs 953. Likewise, the top loser for today is Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL). It fell by 8.64% closing at Rs 148.

All the sub-indices for today except Hotels, Finance, Manufacturing and processing and others ended in the red zone. Life insurance sector gained the most climbing by 9.13 points, whereas Manufacturing and processing sector lost the most falling by 31.85 points.
