Nepse to reopen from today after Dashain holiday; banking scrips to be traded in dematerialized form

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) market is opening from today after remaining closed for seven days.

The market was closed due to Dashain holiday.

Nepse benchmark has inched up 0.68 points higher to close at 937.99 points on September 30- the last trading day.

Meanwhile, shares trading of the commercial banks will begin in dematerialized form from today. According to the plan, the investors of banking group from today onwards can sell their stocks in physical format, but the buyer must open a demat account to trade the stock.

The full-fledged implementation of the CDS will, however, come from Kartik 6.
