NEPSE to remain closed today for Tamu Lhosar

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will remain closed today due to the public holiday of Tamu Lhosar or a New Year Day of the Gurung community.

The trading will resume tomorrow at the usual time.

Yesterday, on the first trading day of the week, the benchmark index had plummeted by a whopping 7.57 points to close at 779.79 levels.

All groups eventually landed in the red terrain by the end of the day´s trading as the market went on a correction mode.

The market had been surging at a very high pace and with huge turnover over the past few days.
