NEPSE Slides Down 18.54 Points and So Does Intraday Turnover; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,929.28 today after losing 18.54 points from yesterday's closing. The index had gained a minimal 0.27 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,950.36 and made the intraday high at 2,963.65. While it went as low as 2,916.77, it ultimately closed at 2,929.28.

A total of 10,639,826 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.195 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 9.29 Arba. 222 scrips traded hands via 59,854 transactions.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 27.03 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 695 per share. Its shares also traded the most.

Two scrips have hit the positive 10% circuit today. On the other side of things, Rastriya Beema Company Limited (RBCL) lost the most 5.56%.

All sectors have lost today. Non-Life Insurance lost the most 2.04%.
