NEPSE Takes Bearish Assault Once Again, Index Down 30.29 Points While All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,514.65 today after losing 30.29 points from last trading day's closing. The index had gained a minimal 1.55 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,542.42 today and made the intraday high at 2,557.08. While it went as low as 2,504.48, it ultimately closed at 2,514.65.
229 scrips traded hands via 39,788 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,959,919 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.352 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last Monday's turnover of Rs. 2.6 Arba.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.52 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,680 per share.
The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) were traded the most.
Meanwhile, Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) gained the highest 8.1% and closed at Rs. 1,135. On the other side of things, Bishal Bazar Company Limited (BBC) lost the highest 5.78% and closed at 4,193.
All sectors have closed red. "Trading" lost the highest 3.03%.
