NEPSE Takes Another Double-Digit Hit and Closes at 3,076.44; All Sectors Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 3,076.44 today after losing 48.42 points from yesterday's closing.

The index opened at 3,126.02 and did not trade higher than that. While it went as low as 3,068.90, it ultimately closed at 3,076.44.

A total of 19,599,089 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 12.092 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 16.124 Arba. 227 scrips traded hands via 118,972 transactions.

Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 48.71 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 788.90 per share. The shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.

ICFC Finance Limited (ICFC) and Jeevan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (JBLB) technically gained 10% today, which is the highest permissible intraday gain for a scrip. On the other side of things, Khani Khola Hydropower Company Limited (KKHC) lost the most 10% today.

All sectors closed red with the Non-Life Insurance sector losing the most 2.84%.
