NEPSE SURGE AS INVESTORS CAPITALIZE

Following the yesterdays subside, the market today bounced back as the index traded on the green pasture for the entire session. As the continuous decline in the market has lowered the price of most scrip; the investors today seems to have capitalized this opportunity to enter in lower level. The high presence of buyer in the market pushed the local bourse up by 2.06 points to close at 498.81 levels
As for the movement of sub-indices, Hydro, Finance and Insurance tumbled by 1.35, 0.21 and 6.84 points respectively. Whereas, Manufacturing made the highest climb of 10.07 points. Likewise, Banking today made recovery by gaining 2.87 points alongside Development which also made an incline of 0.98 points. Likewise, Hotels subgroup ascended by 4.9 points in today's session followed by Others with 2.35 points growth.
Overall there were trades of 88 scrips among which 50 scrips increased 12 remained intact and 26 scrips decreased. The best performer for the day was, Kasthamandap Development Bank Ltd. (KDBL), closed at Rs 78, with Rs 5 or 6.85% gain. Among the shares trading above par, Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH), closed at Rs 123, was the top gainer with Rs 6 or 5.13%. Whereas, Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (CBBL), closed at Rs 457, was the worst performer with Rs 46 or 9.15% loss.
In case of the highest shares traded among mutual fund, Nabil Balance Fund 1 (NBF1) , closed at Rs 10.50, topped with 40,616 units. In case of ordinary scrips, Civil Bank Ltd (CBL), closed at Rs 149, topped with 21,090 units. In terms of turnover, Everest Bank Ltd (EBL), closed at Rs 1550, topped with 2,820 units worth Rs 4,355,171 via 19 transactions. The most active Broker with the highest stand-alone dealing of EBL was Broker no 8 (Ashutosh Brokerage & Securities Pvt. Limited) with 25.68%, tallying 1,450 units worth Rs 2,237,050 via 11 selling transactions.
Altogether there were trade of 200,194 units of share via 986 transactions worth Rs 45,618,187; the market capitalization at the day stood at Rs 494,236.88 Millions.
