NEPSE Stands at 1,876.41 Level After Double Digit Loss of 33.97 Points; All Sector Indices Closed Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,876.41 today after losing 33.97 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 1.78%. The index had gained 14.10 points last Friday.

The index opened at 1,910.2 and went intraday high at 1,911.57. Then the index made intraday low at 1,874.14 and ultimately closed at 1,876.41.

229 scrips traded hands via 27,790 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 6,296,445 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.601 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 90.81 Crores.

Laxmi Bank Limited (LBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 21.38 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 198 per share. The shares of Prabhu Bank Limited Promoter Share (PRVUPO) traded the most.

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1) gained the highest 5.35% for the day.

On the other side of things, Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) lost the highest 7.85% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Trading" lost the highest 3.24% while "Banking" lost the least 0.94%.
