NEPSE slumped by almost double digit today

It was dismal day for NEPSE index as it dropped by 9.51 points to land at 895.41 level, compared to 904.92 level on Thursday.
The ongoing political tussles between the major three parties continuous to dampen the market sentiment, as investors are offloading their shares despite handsome returns from the listed companies.
Except Finance sector's 2.03 points gain , every other sub-indices went down on their respective graphs.
Insurance, Hydero Power and Banking sectors were big losers today which dropped by 51.92, 28.26 and 10.97 points respectively.
Whereas Hotels, Development Banks, Manufacturing and Others dropped by fewer points, that is 6.98, 3.88, 2.44 and 2.35 points respectively.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 221.87 million compared to 225.13 million of prior trading day.
