NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Market Capitalization Stood at Rs. 28.65 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 18.06 points, or 0.96%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,858.53 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 17.93 points for the index. 

The index opened trading at 1874.24 and had an intraday low of 1,851.32 and an intraday high of 1,876.40.

There were 289 different stocks traded in 37,031 transactions during today's session. 4,595,553 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 1.32 arba. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.98 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.65 Kharba.

At a market price of Rs. 423, Nepal Insurance Co. Ltd Promoter Share (NICLPO) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 11.67 crores for today.

Likewise, today's highest gainer is Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU), at 5.63%.

Conversely, today's biggest loss were recorded by Vijaya laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (VLBS), Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN), United IDI Mardi RB Hydropower Limited. (UMRH) at 10% each.

Today, all sector indicies closed in the red, except for "Mutual Fund". "Mutual Fund" saw the most gain of 0.11%, whereas "HydroPower Index" saw a loss of 1.73%.
