NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Himalayan Laghubitta Hits 10% Negative Circuit

On the first trading session of this week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index had a decline of 21.46 points, or 1.16%, from the previous day's closing, closing at 1,826.23 points. The previous trading day saw a 10.86-point decline on the index.

The index opened trading at 1846.75 and had an intraday low of 1,817.76 and an intraday high of 1,846.77.

There were 289 distinct equities traded in 39,322 transactions during today's session. 3,558,554 shares were exchanged, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 97.23 crore. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 9.84 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.13 Kharba.

At a market price of Rs. 307.20, NABIL Bank Limited Promotor Share (NABILP) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 4.60 crores.

 

NIC ASIA Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NICLBSL) had the most increase today, coming in at 6.97%.

Conversely, Himalayan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (HLBSL) suffered the greatest loss of 10% on this day. The company faced a loss on the first trading day after publishing its first quarterly report.

Regarding sector indices, every index closed in red except for the "Hotels And Tourism Index". The "Trading Index" saw the most daily loss of 2.11%, while the "Hotels And Tourism Index" saw the largest gain of 0.38%.
