NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Gain: Market Cap Surged to Rs. 29.92 Kharba

In today's Nepal Stock Exchange trading session, the NEPSE Index ended at 1,985.43 points, showing an increase of 16.24 points or 0.82% compared to the previous day's closing. On Monday, the index experienced a slight increase of 4.26 points.
The day started with the index opening at 1,970.42 and hitting a low of 1,960.62 points during the trading session. However, it reached a high of 1,986.72 points.
During today's trading, there were 272 different stocks traded in 50,296 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares totaling 43,36,583 and a turnover of Rs. 1.17 Arba. The market's total capitalization was Rs. 29.92 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.54 Kharba.
Reliable Nepal Life Insurance Limited (RNLI) had the highest turnover at Rs. 10.64 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 485.50.
Similarly, Shuvam Power Limited (SPL)showed the highest gain of 10%, followed by Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) with a gain of 9.99%.
On the other hand, Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) saw the highest loss of 8.00% today.
Among the sub-indices, the Hotel and tourism index and trading index both ended in the red, with the "Hydropower Index" showing the largest gain at 3.21%, while the "Mutual Fund and Other" sub-index had the smallest gain at 0.11%.
