NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double Digit Gain; 8 Sector Closed Green Led By Microfinance

The NEPSE index closed at 2,129.42 today after gaining 11.69 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 0.55%. The index gained 62.21 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 2,124.01 and then made the intraday high at 2,154.86. In contrast, it went as low as 2,120.42 and ultimately closed at 2,129.42.
279 scrips traded hands via 73,958 transactions. A total of 11,903,687 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.31 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 6.49 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 42.05 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 622 per share.
Four scrips hit the positive circuit today.
Conversely, Super Madi Hydropower Limited (SMHL) lost the highest 6.94% today.
Five sector indices closed red, "Microfinance" gained the highest 3.99% while "Non-Life Insurance" lost the highest 0.97% today.
