NEPSE Settles Today's Session With 1.46% Gain; NABIL Sees Highest Market Cap Among All Scrips

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,045.45 points, as the index gained by 29.47 points or 1.46% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a gain of 17.69 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,016.8 and made an intraday low of 2,015.80. However, the market reached an intraday high of 2,048.26, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,045.45.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 47.01. The reading was at 40.71 yesterday. Meanwhile, the MACD line didn't cross higher from the zero line, with the MACD reading at -19.16.
During today's trading, a total of 273 scrips were exchanged through 44,340 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 4,237,069, representing a turnover of Rs. 1.51 Arba.
Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.62 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.76 Kharba.
Ghorahi Cement Industry Limited (GCIL) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 7.57 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 510.
Similarly, the newly listed stock Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) gained the highest 9.99%, technically hitting the upper circuit for the day.
Meanwhile, Citizens Super 30 Mutual Fund (C30MF) lost the highest 7.42% today.
In terms of sector indices, all sector indices closed green. Hydropower Index gained the most for the day with a 2.74% positive change.
