NEPSE Settles Today's Session With 1.22% Gain; SHIVM Sees Highest Turnover Among All Scrips

The NEPSE index closed at 2,097.55 today after gaining 25.31 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 1.22%. The index lost 4.73 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,072.24 which is also the intraday low. In contrast, it went as high as 2,099.71 and ultimately closed at 2,097.55.

289 scrips traded hands via 59,539 transactions. A total of 8,504,378 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.18 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.85 Arba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 33.93 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 660 per share.

Five scrips hit the positive circuit for the day.

Conversely, Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) lost all 10% today.

Only two sector indices closed red, "Hydropower" gained the highest 4.41% while "Finance" lost the highest 1.95% today.
