NEPSE Sees Triple-Digit Gain While All Sector Indices Surge With High Volume

The NEPSE index closed at 2,667.97 today after gaining 101.07 points from last trading day's closing. The index had gained 52.31 points last Thursday.

The index opened at 2,575.27 today and did not trade lower. It then closed at the intraday high of 2,667.97.

228 scrips traded hands via 64,635 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 9,022,890 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.87 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than last Thursday's turnover of Rs. 2.791 Arba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 34.36 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,251 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) were traded the most.

Meanwhile, a total of 5 scrips have gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day. On the other side of things, Mega Mutual Fund -1 (MMF1) lost the highest 2.93%.

All sectors have closed green today, with most of them gaining heavily. Life Insurance gained the highest 6.94%.
