NEPSE Sees Positive Momentum with 0.53% Gain: Nabil Bank Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a gain of 9.87 points, or 0.53%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 1,860.20 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 20.67 points for the index.

The index opened trading at 1847.69 and had an intraday low of 1,826.49 and an intraday high of 1,864.59.

There were 292 different stocks traded in 48,493 transactions during today's session. 4,420,518 shares were traded, resulting in a total turnover of Rs. 1.34 arba. With a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.00 Kharba, the market capitalization was Rs. 28.68 Kharba.

At a market price of Rs. 515, Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) finished with the highest turnover of Rs. 13.10 crores. The bank's shares have been under selling pressure since the lower dividend was announced today. 

Likewise, today's highest gainer was Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC), at 9.97%.

Conversely, today's biggest loss was recorded by Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL), at 8.20%.

All sector indexes closed in the green, except for "Banking SubIndex, Microfinance Index, Others Index". Meanwhile, "Life Insurance" saw the most gain of 3.37%, while "Banking SubIndex" saw a loss of 0.72%.
