NEPSE Risen By Magnificent 56.94 Points to Close at 2,186.36 Levels; Microfinance Index Increased Heavily

The NEPSE index closed at 2,186.36 today after gaining 56.94 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 2.67%. The index gained 11.69 points yesterday.

Today the index opened at 2,132.61 and then made the intraday low at 2,132.48. In contrast, it went as high as 2,186.68 and ultimately closed at 2,186.36.

275 scrips traded hands via 80,398 transactions. A total of 13,107,080 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.47 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 5.31 Arba.

Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 25.12 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 934 per share. The shares of SHL traded the most.

Almost thirty scrips hit the positive circuit today.

Conversely, Sikles Hydropower Limited (SIKLES) lost the highest 3.88% today.

Three sector indices closed red, "Microfinance" gained the highest 8.96% while "Trading" lost the highest 0.66% today.
