NEPSE Returns to 2000 Levels, Gains 17.69 Points to Close at 2015.90; Market Cap Stands at Rs. 30.17 Kharba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2015.98 points, as the index gained by 17.69 points or 0.88% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a loss of 12.93 points.
During today's trading, a total of 277 scrips were exchanged through 34,508 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 6,031,356, representing a turnover of Rs. 1.33 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.17 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.60 Kharba.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 1,998.14 and made an intraday high of 2,016.18. However, the market reached an intraday low of 1,990.29, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,015.98.
Kumari Bank Limited Promotor Share (KBLPO) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 28.59 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 113.
Similarly, the newly listed stock Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) gained the highest 9.98%, technically hitting the upper circuit for the day.
Meanwhile, Laxmi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (LLBS) lost the highest 4.42 % today.
In terms of sector indices, all sector indices closed green. Finance Index gained the most for the day with 2.21 % positive change.
