NEPSE registers marginal increase of 1.35 points to close 1,219.81; Shareholders of Aarambha Microfinance earn the most for the day

The market at Nepal Stock Exchange has closed gaining 1.35 points at the end of the first day of trading of the week. The market had started at 1,218.46 which at the highest point had reached 1,227.45 points. However, the market lost some points and closed at 1,219.81 points.

The total turnover for the day was reported as Rs 20.94 crore which was the outcome of the trade of 4,73,200 units. Shares of 167 listed companies were traded during the day.
The promoter shares of Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICLP) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than Rs 2 crore worth of shares were traded during the day. Similarly, the promoter shares of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBLP) stood ahead in terms of units traded as 71,060 units were traded in the trading period.

The shareholders of Aarambha Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (AMFI) earned the most today as the price of the share increased by 28 points. Likewise, the shareholders of National Hydro Developers Limited (NHDL) lost the most today as the price of the share decreased by 21 points.

Both the sensitive and float index increased by 0.29 points and 0.18 points respectively.
Out of the sub-indices, Hotels, Hydropower, Others and Microfinance lost points to fall in the red zone. Hydropower lost 7.37 points while Insurance gained 22.92 points.
