Nepse rebound to 400 level

Nepal Stock Exchange bounced back after four days of consistent dip. The benchmark index which went below 400 level despite the favorable news of margin lending against purchase receipt yesterday, seems to had been artificially drag down to make entry in the lower level today. With the news of margin lending coming into action and mutual funds in process of bringing schemes worth 500 million and 300 million in the upcoming days, it provides a favorable base for Nepse level to go up in the near future as per fundamental news. Today the Nepse level only after sight decline in the opening session gain upward momentum to sustain itself in the bullish mark however it was only at the closing session the benchmark index cross 400 level to close at highest level of 400.59 for the day.
The Top Loser for the day was NB Insurance Co. ltd. (NBIL), settled at Rs 127, with Rs 14 or 9.93%.Similarly, Sagarmatha Insurance Co. Ltd (SIC), settled at Rs 390, was the Top Gainer with Rs 35 or 9.86%.Today, Nepal Bangladesh Bank(NBB) which posted the net profit of Rs. 702.9 million closed at Rs 146, climb the chart of top gainer to be second following SIC with Rs 13 or 9.77% and had highest share traded of 23,541 units.
Today Purnima Bikas Bank Limited (PURBL), closed at Rs 78, topped the categories of highest transaction with 118 times. All in all, with 9,630 shares worth Rs 9,363,506 via 99 transactions, Chilime Hydro Power Company Ltd. (CHCL), closed at Rs 977, had the highest turnover today also; in which Broker No 33 (Dachinkali Investment Securities Pvt.Ltd) was the most active broker with 50.70% stand alone dealing of CHCL, amounting Rs 4,747,496 of 4,892 units via 21 transactions which includes matching of 2,588 units worth Rs 2,505,126 via 11 transaction.
Sectoral wise, Development and Finance, two of the Banking and Financial Institutions sector, suffered the loss of 0.04% and 0.05% respectively. Whereas, Other sectors moved higher than yesterday by 2.94% points followed by Insurance, Banking and Hydro with 1.34%, 0.96% and 0.20% points respectively. Sensitive index rose by 1.24 or 1.22% points to rest at 103.46 level while Float index also added 0.219 or 0.71% point to close at 31.17 level.
Total scrips traded for the day was 84 with 49 gainers and 25 losers with total turnover of Rs 49,140,839 which is comparatively Rs 4,476,098 or 10.02% higher than prior trading session. Overall 160,694 units of shares were traded via 1438 transactions with the market capitalization of Rs 378,527.54 Millions.
