NEPSE Publishes Disorganized Categorization of Listed Companies in Typo-Filled Document

Sun, Mar 20, 2022 4:27 PM on Stock Market, National, Latest,

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has unveiled the updated categorization of companies listed in NEPSE.

The list contains all listed companies in NEPSE tabulated in their respective categories and subcategories. Apart from the usual sectorial categorization, the companies are also divided into groups "A", "B", "G", and "Z". The group "G" includes companies that were listed in the last two years, and hence have a track record of lesser than two years since being listed in NEPSE.

The document is laden with numerous typos and inconsistent formatting. It is high time the only exchange in the country preaches accountability among its staff.

NEPSE handles the capital, hopes, and expectations of thousands of citizens. Blatant negligence and obvious typos are a sign of ridicule and betrayal to the general public.
