NEPSE Plunges By 1.05% To Close at 2,595.24 ; Overall Volume Stood at 5.15 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 27.64 points (1.05% ) to settle at 2,595.24. This follows a 8.24 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2623.76, touching an intraday high of 2,627.56, while the lowest point was 2,587.28. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.15 Arba, with 10,343,898 shares traded across 322 companies through 54,892 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.38 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.72 Kharba.


NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 27 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,120.10.

Mabilung Energy Limited (MABEL) led the gainer's list with 9.99% each


Meanwhile, Muktinath Krishi Company Limited (MKCL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

 

Among sectors, Finance Index registered the highest loss , gaining 2.21%, while the Trading Index and Life Insurance saw the least loss at 0.11%.
