NEPSE Plunged Further 9.83 Points To Close at 1,838.96; All Sector Indices Close Red

The NEPSE index closed at 1,838.96 today after losing 9.83 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.53%. The index had gained 11.19 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,848.79 and went intraday high at 1,856.02. Then the index made intraday low at 1,836.17 and ultimately closed at 1,848.82.

229 scrips traded hands via 17,964 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,542,899 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 65.57 Crores in the turnover amount. This is alot lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 72.12 Crores.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 2.58 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 759 per share. The shares of Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF) traded the most.

Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) gained the highest 9.98% and technically hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, 10% Prabhu Bank Debenture 2084 (PBLD84) lost highest 9.93% today.

All sector indices closed red, "Finance" lost the highest 1.56% while "Banking" lost the least 0.02%.
