NEPSE Plunged Further 16.06 Points to Settle at 1,855.16 Levels; Only Three Sectors Close Green

The NEPSE index closed at 1,855.16 today after losing 16.06 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.86%. The index had lost 27.16 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,871.28 which is also the intraday high. While it went as low as 1,849.80, it ultimately closed at 1,855.16.

229 scrips traded hands via 12,294 transactions. A total of 1,768,692 shares exchanged hands amounting to only Rs. 55.28 Crores in the turnover amount. This is alot lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 97.17 Crores.

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.10 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 792 per share. The shares of Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme - 2 (SIGS2) traded the most.

Summit Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFDB) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) lost the highest 7.18% today.

Only three sector indices closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained 0.26% while "Life Insurance" lost the highest 1.4%.
