NEPSE Plunged by 7.72 Points on First Trading of the Week to Close at 2,060.55; Four Sectors Close Green Led by Hotels And Tourism

The NEPSE index closed at 2,060.55 today after losing 7.72 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.37%. The index had gained 27.72 points last Thursday.

The index opened at 2,070.06 and went intraday high at 2,089.25. Then, the index went intraday high at 2,055.78 and ultimately closed at 2,060.55.

218 scrips traded hands via 43,455 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 5,339,004 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 2.047 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.057 Arba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.28 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 612 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.

Mandakini Hydropower Limited (MHL) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, River Falls Power Limited (RFPL) lost the highest 5.19% today.

Only four sector indices closed green, "Hotels And Tourism" gained the highest 1.06% while "Trading" lost the highest 1.93%.
