NEPSE Only a Few Points Away from Creating a New All-Time High; 11 Companies Hit 10% Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index gained 56.72 points and closed at 2,067.17 today.
The index opened at 2,022.72 and did not trade at any point lower than that. The close at 2,067.17 is only a few points lower than the intraday-high at 2,069.06.

Furthermore, it should be noted that this is the second-highest index close in NEPSE's history. The new highest-close at 2,071.02 was made only a few days ago on 2nd December.
12,888,066 shares traded hands via 57,097 transactions. Trading of 202 scrips brought the total market turnover to a little over Rs. 7.2 Arba.
The float index gained 3.48 points and closed at 139.81 while the Sensitive index is at 388.16 after gaining 6.04 points.
Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) has the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 74.39 crores. The shares of Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) traded the most today.

Impressively, 11 companies hit the 10% positive circuit today. This is the list of the top gainers:

Meanwhile, Liberty Energy Company Limited (LEC) lost the most 5.79%.

Only Hydropower lost a minimal 1.21% today. Among all other sectors that gained, Trading gained the most 8.32%.
