NEPSE ONE MONTH ‘S HIGH

Continuing its rally, the Nepse index today propelled further by 9.62 points. With this, the benchmark index now has come to sustain at one month’s high of 811.34 level. Last time, the market reached this level was back in 3rd March when the local bourse was galloping downward from height of 831.86 level.
From the start of today’s session, the market was full on action as the Nepse floated over the green terrain throughout. With the growth of demand towards others and banking scrips alongside hydro and insurance scrips, the Nepse index never looked back today but kept on stretching forward.
As the banking scrips, that had been more or less on static transition for more than month or so, today came to witness huge flourish in its demand. Among the 25 traded banking scrips, only seven encountered loss while rest settled on green. By the end of the day, the banking sub-index sustained gain of 6.84 points.
Similarly, Others also witnessed remarkable growth; the sub-index today incremented by 16.45 points. Likewise, Insurance continued with its bullish form, the sub-index today added further 53.47 points to its tally. Alongside them, Hydro and Hotels also continued with incline as both advanced by 9.94 points and 36.99 points respectively.
As for Development and Finance, both also sustained surge of 7.19 points and 4.04 points respectively. While, Manufacturing was the only sector to suffer loss of 0.16 point.
Altogether there were trade of 121 scrips, among which 79 scrips gained, 11 scrips remained intact and 31 scrips suffered loss.
The best performer among the traded shares was Lumbini Finance Ltd. (LFLC), closed Rs 209, with a gain of Rs 19 or 10 percent. Whereas, Rising Development Bank Ltd. (RDBL), closed at Rs 187, was the worst performer with loss of Rs 17 or 8.33 percent.
National Life Insu. Co.Ltd. (NLICL), which closed at Rs 2666, had the highest turnover among the traded scrips today. Overall, 33,424 units of NLICL were traded through 187 transactions worth Rs 89,851,743.
The Broker with the highest transaction of NLICL was Broker No 33 (Dachinkali Investment Securities Pvt.Ltd) with 14.42 percent standalone dealing, totaling 9,615 units worth Rs 25,914,745 via 58 transactions, which includes five matching transactions tallying 702 units worth Rs 1,933,350.
The market turnover today stood at Rs 428,411,191, with total number of shares traded at 721,192 units which were traded through 2,279 transactions. The market capitalization at the end of the day stood at Rs 827,197.48 Millions.
